As I look out my window today I am keenly aware that it is still winter.  The snow on the ground, the grey skies and the cold window pane give it away.  I will have to say that most winters here in Indiana are like this, but I still don't like it once we hit mid-February.  To tell you the truth I am over it!  Done, finished can't wait for spring kinda feeling...

Life is cruel sometimes.  It just is and there is no real way to understand why.  Heather had a high school friend die over the weekend and I had an old friend of mine from high school die today as well.  I don't get it, don't understand why, especially at a young age, and I never will.  My heart aches for their families and their friends.  I wish I could answer those questions for their family and friends but I can't.

Death sucks, there is no way around it.  How ever it comes the ones left behind will suffer, mourn, cry.  My mind wonders if those close to these men got a chance to say what they wanted to say.  To let these men know how much they were loved and appreciated.  How much knowing them, meant.

What will you say to them today?  For those of you who read this, I love you!  We are all human beings and death will come no matter what.  I pray that we live like it.  Love, Grace and Peace.

So just suppose there was a reason you were born, a reason you were created.  No really, stop reading and think about that for a moment...

Would you live differently, would you treat people differently and wouldn't you want to understand why you are here?  And that my friends is the journey.  A journey that you and I are on to discover who we were meant to be.  Who God meant when He meant you and me.

Here is the deal, the only way you can discover this is to ask the Creator.  Like clay He formed us and is constantly shaping us into who He wants us to become.  BUT we must continue to be pliable to him.  Open to His ways and willing to go where most people won't go.

I want to know why I am here, and I hope you do as well.  I pray that you do.  Just Ask...
