Shared journey and a shared destiny brought us together really. In 2004 a group of men went through the Wild at Heart Boot Camp presented by Ransomed Heart Ministries in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. We truly had that “mountain top” experience with God.
As we got together post camp to debrief there was a burning desire in our hearts to bring the message of Jesus Christ in this way to the men of our area. As we began to ask God if that was Him who had placed that desire within us, doors began to open, other men came into the mix and in the spring of 2005 we launched our first boot camp called the Indiana Outpost Boot Camp. A true “outpost” of the Kingdom.
Born out of that came a holistic ministry/mission called Mission Uprising. The core tenants behind Mission Uprising are one, to set hearts free in Jesus Christ and to be a catalyst for the masculine journey. We have two men’s boot camps, a Father/Son camp, a Father/Daughter camp and monthly gatherings of likeminded couples.
In late 2007, four of our brothers moved to the Carolinas thus launching our first Carolina Outpost scheduled for 2008.
Wherever God takes us we will go. We will not back down.
