To clearly communicate true freedom and abundant life in the power of the cross, the resurrection, and the ascension of Jesus Christ. We do this through life-transforming events, mentoring, prayer, support for the local church, and the support of life-minded missions worldwide.

We believe the Bible to be the infallible Word of God and that it is the supreme and final authority.

We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary. that He led a sinless life, took upon Himself all of our sins, died on a cross, rose from the dead and ascended, and is seated at the right hand of the Father as our mediator and advocate.

We believe that when you recognize Jesus as your Savior, and submit your life to Him, you are adopted into the family of the living God.  You are eternal.

The events, resources, and ministry decisions of Mission:Uprising have the goal of creating irreversible life-change. Each life is a story, and each of us has the power to change our story by the choices we make. When a man, woman or child comes to one of our events, our goal is that their story will be changed forever, that their life will forever be lived out differently because they have come face-to-face with Jesus Christ.

At Mission:Uprising, each of us came to a point when we asked, “Is this it? Is this all there is to the Christian life?!” Going to church or a Bible study or a small group wasn't cutting it. We were just “doing church,” and it shook us to the core. What we realized next was that we were not alone. We looked around at the other men and women in our churches and communities and noticed that they were not free at all, but were like us, trapped in the mundane.

Every one of our events lifts up Jesus Christ as the ultimate source of freedom and adventure! It all begins with a true conversational relationship with Jesus, and because we’ve been there, too, we are committed to helping you begin that life-giving dialog.

Ask a bunch of Christian people what the phrase “walking with God” means, and the answers would vary greatly. Unfortunately, most would probably give you a list of rules to try to live up to, things to avoid and things that are ok. Someone would inevitably throw out the term “quiet time.”

We believe that walking with God is more than just a to-do or a not-to-do list, or a series of quiet moments. It is intensely personal, but is primarily about finding freedom and life through intimate conversations with God. Jesus Himself was in constant communion with His Father, and His command was simple: “Come, follow Me.” He did not say, “Go, and follow this list of regulations.” At Mission:Uprising events, we ask, “As He stands knocking, what will we miss if we don’t answer?”

The band Mercy Me has a lyric in one of their songs that says, “How can I further Your Kingdom when I am so wrapped up in mine?” At Mission:Uprising, we find that most Christians live in a “small story” of day-to-day existence.  But God has much more for us...

All of us are part of a story that began thousands of years ago by the Creator of the Universe. As God created heaven and the earth and everything in them, He also created man and woman in His image, each with a unique identity and mission. Our story really begins “in the beginning.”

Everything we do in life should be directly related to the bigger story God has been writing. If we are merely living for ourselves then we will never discover our true calling.

Mission Uprising is led by a community of volunteer leaders sharing their gifts, perspectives, and the weight of their lives in one unified voice and direction.

We are a ministry that believes God’s promise to “remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh” (Ezekiel 11:19) is accomplished by the work of Jesus Christ.  Therefore, believers have new, and good hearts. Our very natures have been changed. So we appeal to the deepest and truest parts of one’s being, believing that the deepest, truest desires of a justified follower of Christ are for that which is true, honorable, holy, pure, and beautiful.

All we have has been given to us as a gift from God.

We remember this and pray that all our dealings with people, whether they be for us or against us, would be marked by genuine humility, love, and forgiveness.

We are all under renovation…
